Blockchains handle the process of approving and updating data written to a distributed ledger by multiple nodes (participants) who communicate amongst themselves. Even if some participants act in bad faith or stop functioning, there are various technologies to maintain the integrity of the distributed ledger and prevent it from being tampered with.
In this session, we will introduce peer-to-peer communication, consensus algorithms, cryptography, and SGX as 7 security elements that make up trust in transaction data that are robust to the participants as well as the size of transactions on the LINE Blockchain, along with potential attacking methods we need to prepare for and the future prospects for these technologies.
