Messaging-hub is an independent and universal messaging platform. The project originally began as a means to convert the API polling method into the server-push method, but has since became an all-in-one messaging platform after absorbing various specifications such as server-push, different types of notifications, and user-to-user chat.

Messaging-hub implements internal flow control for message-handling. It also defines protocols for linked servers and clients.
