The LINE LIVE iOS team is continuously trying to improve app quality and developer experience. SwiftUI is a modern framework for UI development, highly promoted by Apple during WWDC 2022. We intend to migrate to SwiftUI from our legacy UIKit-based code over time but it is not a simple conversion. We must consider the risks, benefits, and the costs associated with migration, and then prepare a smooth migration path.
In this session, we share our experience in the selection and implementation of SwiftUI technology that we started last year. Should you start to use SwiftUI immediately? Or should you wait another year? We hope that our experience will help you answer such questions.
